After a traffic stop conducted by Officers with Cottonwood Police Department, Ornelas was arrested for possession of methamphetamines, drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and two counts of taking the identity of another. In August of 2020 he was found guilty of theses charges and placed on intensive probation supervision. Ornelas has violated the terms and agreements of his probation and a warrant for his arrest has been issued.

Ornelas is 39 years old, 6’ 3” 180lbs and has multiple tattoos. He has prior addresses in Flagstaff and the Verde Valley area.

On July 7, 2024, Brown was at a residence in Cornville. He had been drinking and became intoxicated when verbal argument began, over the use of a cellphone. Brown then assault one of his friend and Deputies with the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office were called. When Deputies attempted to arrest Brown, he resisted and attempted to punch the Deputies with a closed fist.

Brown was arrested for assault, disorderly conduct resisting arrest and aggravated assault on a police officer. He was released from custody but has since has failed to appear for his next court appearance. A valid felony warrant has been issued for his arrest.
