Yavapai Silent Witness provides a means of communications for members of the community to anonymously provide police agencies with information on unsolved crimes, crimes in progress and wanted fugitives. When arrests are made, cash rewards are offered.

How Do I Stay Anonymous?

When you call or TEXT Yavapai Silent Witness, day or night, you will be given a four (4) digit control number which is also the case number. That number becomes your ID number and name, thus allowing you to remain anonymous. Once we have gathered all of your information the program Director will send the information to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

What type of information are we looking for:

Do you know someone who has stolen a vehcile, committed a burglary, has a warrant or are selling drugs, maybe they killed, raped or assaulted someone. Maybe you just saw something that looked suspious, maybe they were removing items from a home or trying to break into a vehicle. No matter what you should call Silent Witness and allow us to decide.

You will be instructed to call back within thirty (30) days to check the status of the case. If the information has led to an arrest then you will be offered a cash reward from $100.00 to $1,000.00 depending on the severity of the crime. If your information leads to the arrest of a suspect who used a firearm against a victim during the crime in question then you will receive a $1,000.00 cash reward.

The Board of Directors  meet on a monthly basis to determine reward amounts.
