THE 36TH ANNUAL YAVAPAI SILENT WITNESS OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT WENT OFF WITH A BANG!

THE 36TH ANNUAL YAVAPAI SILENT WITNESS OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT WENT OFF WITH A BANG! -

On Saturday, September 11th, the 36th Annual Yavapai Silent Witness Open was held at the Antelope Hills Golf Course in Prescott.    Due to it being held on the day that marked the 20th anniversary of that day when cowards attacked our country, the Yavapai Silent Witness Board thought it more than appropriate to have a special opening ceremony to honor those fallen on that day.  A special thanks goes out to the members of  the American Legion Post 6's Honor Guard out of Prescott, the Yavapai County Sheriff's Office's Honor Guard, and the bagpiper Donald Mansfield for putting together a very professional and respectful ceremony.

Fun was had by all during tournament play with many prizes and awards won during the tournament.  We even had a hole in one made by one of our golfers.  The winner of that contest got a brand new set of clubs.  Take a look at the link below for the highlights and we hope you join us next year.
